Our Vision, Values and Aims
Our school has a wonderfully warm and welcoming feel, and this is something we feel rightly proud of. However, we recently noticed that our vision and values had become less visible over time, and we wanted to ensure we were actively promoting the things that have made our school such a friendly place in the first place.
This has led to us reevaluating, redefining and relaunching our school vision and aims as a whole school community. We believed this to be so important that we made it one of the priority action plans for our current 2024-27 School Development Plan. Pupils, Parents, Teachers, Staff and Governors were all involved in this process, and we now have our vision and values displayed on posters and banners throughout the school. Our School Council played a particularly important role, by taking the lead in creating values and guidelines to help us fulfil our school vision.
Something the School Council are very excited about is our new Vision and Values booklet, due to be launched in September 2025. Working alongside a graphic designer, the councillors have created a child-friendly booklet which will help everyone think about how school works best and to make sure everyone in our school feels happy, safe, valued and valuable.
